HIV, STI AND HEPATITIS C TESTING

Confidential HIV, STI and STD, and Hepatitis C Testing: FREE.

HIV and Hep-C screenings include the following: (1) Rapid HIV antibody test (detects HIV after 90 days) and (1) Hepatitis C. Both test results are available within just 20 minutes. These tests require a blood draw.

STIs and STDs screenings include 3 site testing with a vaginal, rectal, and throat swab to increase accuracy and avoid false negatives. Even if you don’t have symptoms, you can still transmit STIs and STDs to others.

AIDS Alabama's Prevention Coordinators will answer your sexual health questions with friendly, professional and trained staff. A wide variety of other referrals are also available, including referrals for Linkage to Care for HIV+ individuals.

Note: Confidential testing collects your name and contact information which is protected by state and federal privacy laws.
